Some of the Kapamilya stars of ABS-CBN share their plans for Christmas holiday.
To the newlywed Anne Curtis, she was excited to celebrate her first Christmas as Mrs. Erwan Eusaff. To the "It's Showtime" host she wants to celebrate the Christmas season with her family and loved ones. "Dito lang kami kasi may work kami hanggang December 23, (in here only because we still have work until December 23)" according to Anne Curtis. Just recently Anne Curtis reunites with her close friends to celebrate the holidays. The celebration was posted on the official Instagram account of Antoinette Taus, she wrote"Over 25 years of Christmases together and looking forward to many more years until we celebrate as lolas! Love these girls so so much." Cheska Garcia, Danica Sotto-Pingris, Liz Uy and CJ Jaravata were also present during the gathering.
The Megastar Sharon Cuneta also want to spend the season with the family, she would probably take a vacation abroad to visit them in the United States. She said "Christmas is usually just with the family, the same, just family dinner. KC looks forward to Noche Buena. Here lang. Kaya lang, the day after siguro, Kiko said I can go (KC looks forward to Noche Buena, in here only. But, the day after maybe, Kiko said I can go). I might go to the States because my nephew who is like a son to me is a soldier in the US Army because he's going to be deployed soon."
In case her plan of going to the States doesn't push through, Cuneta will still fly to another place somewhere else "for a change of environment." The veteran actress considers her reunion movie with Robin Padilla a "beautiful year-ender gift from the Lord." The movie "Unexpectedly Yours" already earned P218 million worldwide as of Sunday, December 17 according to Star Cinema. When the actress was asked what she is looking forward to in 2018, she said: "I'm doing my first concert as the kick-off of my 40th-anniversary celebration.
This will be in Cebu at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino. I hope to see you all there." But the actress disclosed that she doesn't have a television project coming up as of the moment, so her fans might have to wait a little while.
Robin Padilla still wants to celebrate Christmas with family also despite the change of religious preference. According to the veteran action star Robin Padilla, he respects his wife Mariel Rodriguez Padilla. He said "Si Mariel kasi talagang mayroon silang kultura dapat naman respetuhin 'yon. May Christmas tree sa bahay, may reindeer. It's more on culture and tradition, (Mariel really has a culture that needs to be respected. We have Christmas tree at home, there are reindeer. It is more on culture and tradition.)"
The award-winning actor and producer Piolo Pascual shared his plans for the upcoming Yuletide season. The 40-year-old actor shared in his interview that he will be spending the holidays here in the Philippines in their new house. The actor is very excited to celebrate the holidays with his whole family because all of them very busy whole year round and it would be the greatest gift he will receive this Christmas. He said "I'm really excited because this is the first time that we're spending it in our house. Usually kasi kapag nagbabakasyon lang kaming magkakapatid, even my mom, pati si Inigo, doon lang kami nagkakasama-sama.
At least ngayon mayroon na kaming common house where we are going to spend our Christmas together, (I'm really excited because this is the first time that we're spending it in our house. Usually all of my siblings we are reunited during vacation only, even my mom and also Inigo that is the only period we can spend time together. At least now we have already a common house where we are going to spend our Christmas together.)" It can be recalled that in the past years, Piolo spent the Christmas in the US with his whole family, where he considers it as one of the most memorable Christmas he ever had. He said, "2014 Christmas celebration was one of the most memorable Christmas for me, because one of my wishes, to spend the Christmas with my family in the States, in one house, has happened."
Piolo also shared that although Christmas is known as a gift-giving holiday, he is not really expecting any big material gift this year, he does not really want tangible gifts for Christmas just seeing his family and having a good time with them is more than enough of a gift. He shared "I just want my kids and my loved ones to really take it all in and enjoy, take some time off from work, school, just really enjoy each other's company."
One of the hottest love team of ABS-CBN Kathniel will spend Christmas separately. Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo the lead star of La Luna Sangre will spend Christmas separately this year. According to Kathryn "Aalis kasi kami on December 24 with my family, mag-a-abroad for ilang days lang tapos si DJ naman magja-Japan siya and, of course, ‘yung ‘Revengers' na movie nila, (We are living outside the country on December 24 with my family, we going abroad for a few days while DJ will be with his family in Japan. And of course their movie "The Revengers Squad.)" When Daniel Padilla was asked about it he said "First time namin naman na maghihiwalay ulit after how many years so nakakalungkot, (This is our first time to spend the holidays separately after how many years. It is so sad.)"
And love is in the air to another love team Julia Barretto and Josua Garcia. Even if their relationship has not yet confirmed publicly by the two-person involved but they are already uncovered by their friends and workmates. According to the young actor Joshua Garcia "Nag-usap kami ni Julia. Kung kami man or hindi pa, sasabihin naman namin 'yun kapag ready na kami, (Julia and I are talking about the issue. If ever that we are in relationship now or not, we are going to share it to everyone if we are already ready.)"
And to the LizQuen love team, their holiday season will be hot and cold. Hot because they will celebrate the yuletide season together and literally cold because they will spend it in Europe with their own family. They are planning to go to London, Paris, and Spain.
Television personalities who broke up this year will have a cold Christmas holiday just like the television host Robi Domingo and volleyball enthusiast Gretchen Ho. According to Robi, he is thankful for his friend for this season. He said "Buti na lang at nandiyan ang mga kaibigan at kapitbahay para magparamdam sa 'kin na OK lang ‘yan, (It is better that I have friends and neighbours so that they can still make feel it just ok.)" Another talk of the town break up is the break-up of Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga early this year. But it seems that both parties have already moved on and Erich Gonzales is happy again and willing to wait for the right person for her at the right time while Daniel Matsunaga on the other hand already found someone new that makes him happy at the moment.
And it is really a cold Christmas for the young actress Bela Padilla because she is now in Switzerland to shoot her movie together with Carlo Aquino. The actress was asked about her love life for 2018, she answered "Hindi na hinihingi iyan. Dumadating na lang. (There is no waiting game for it, it will just come.)"

The couple Christmas celebration came early as the pop star Sarah Geronimo attends the Christmas party of her boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli family. The event also coincided with the 11th birthday celebration of the little brother of Matteo Guidicelli, Paolo. On official Facebook account of the actor, he shared photos and video from the intimate gathering. Fans of the couple also reposted other photos from the event on social media. As seen on the posted photos, the celebrity couple were inseparable with Matteo Guidicelli always beside his girlfriend. The two were last spotted publicly together during Matteo Guidicelli's concert at the Kia Theater last November 30.
